Domestic & International Multimodal · Sea · Rail · Road · Air
CSI Trans connects road, rail, sea and air into one plan — factory pickup by FTL or LTL, port and airport drayage, domestic rail and China-Europe / Central-Asia services, sea-rail and air-truck intermodal, and regional distribution — with GPS and temperature tracking through to signed POD.
End-to-End Multimodal Process
From factory floor to final distribution point — each mode and handover is sequenced under one booking.
Compare road, rail, sea and air options against transit time, cost and reliability, and lock the optimal chain.
FTL direct or LTL consolidated pickup at the factory or warehouse, loaded and documented against the plan.
Timed truck transfer to the seaport, airport or railway depot with gate windows and paperwork confirmed.
Book domestic rail wagons or China-Europe / Central-Asia train space, including SOC/COC container positions.
Load and lash to the required standard, apply customs seals where applicable, and record weight and seal numbers.
Manage transhipment and gauge-change points at land borders, with customs transit declarations arranged.
GPS position, rail wagon events and temperature data monitored in transit, with exception alerts.
Break-bulk at the destination depot, regional trucking to each consignee, signed POD returned and filed.
Road Transport
Dedicated box, flatbed and low-bed trucks point to point, with GPS position and driver handover records.
Less-than-truckload freight consolidated at departure depots for lower cost on smaller volumes.
Container and pallet drayage around seaports, airports and railway depots, timed to gates and cutoffs.
Reefer and insulated road capacity with set-band monitoring for pharma and food shipments.
Route surveys and over-dimension road transport permits arranged with the proper authorities.
Rail & Sea-Rail Intermodal
Capabilities
We choose and combine modes around the cargo — not the other way around.
How We Manage
One order and one account desk coordinate the trucking companies, railway and carriers on every leg.
Cost, transit-time and reliability compared per move, so the mode mix is a decision, not a default.
Position and temperature data on equipped trucks and active reefer units, with exception alerts.
Congestion, gauge transfer and customs-hold playbooks ready at land gateways and transfer points.
Line haul, drayage, transfer and local charges quoted as one door-to-door bill.
The Standards We Work By
Multimodal moves cross regulators as well as borders — we book against the rail, road and customs-transit rules that apply to each leg.
Each leg is performed by qualified carriers — licensed trucking companies, railways and shipping lines. CSI acts as the booking forwarder and multimodal coordinator: we arrange space, documents, customs transit and handovers across the legs. Dangerous-goods road moves are assigned to carriers holding the required dangerous-goods road transport qualifications.
The through-carriage framework for China-Europe / Central-Asia rail moves across the participating railways.
The unified rail waybill used for through rail transport between the CIM and SMGS railway areas.
Bonded transit declarations and customs seals for cross-border and inland point-to-point moves.
Dangerous-goods road moves assigned to qualified carriers under China's road DG transport rules.
Route surveys and permits for oversized and overweight road moves, arranged before departure.
Responsibility and cost allocation across the legs confirmed on every quotation.
