International Ocean Freight · Shanghai & Yangshan Port Operations
CSI Trans arranges FCL and LCL, special equipment, dangerous goods and reefer moves out of Shanghai and the Yangshan terminals — from booking release, container pickup and CFS stuffing to destination clearance, drayage and empty return. An NVOCC-filed forwarder with proactive milestone updates from booking to POD.
End-to-End Ocean Process
From booking request to empty-container return — every step has a written SOP, a responsible owner and a timestamped record.
Confirm commodity, weight, volume, readiness and target dates; compare direct and transhipment services, carriers and transit times; choose FCL or LCL.
Secure the shipping order, release the booking, pull the right container type, and line up trucking for factory or warehouse loading before the cutoff.
Door (factory) stuffing or CFS warehouse consolidation; planned stowage, lashing, VGM weighing, seal applied and condition photographed.
Submit shipping instruction and VGM before cutoff; HS classification, origin and permits handled; export declaration lodged well in advance.
Truck the sealed container into the terminal inside the gate window; terminal stows and loads it to the vessel plan.
Track the vessel and AIS position; protect the second-leg connection at transhipment hubs and act immediately on roll-over.
Exchange the B/L for the delivery order, lodge import customs, pay duties, and manage inspections to contain demurrage risk.
Truck the heavy container to the door, unload, return the empty on time, and file the signed POD and charges for settlement.
CFS, Stuffing & Container Yard
Document check, piece count, packaging inspection and condition photos — any discrepancy is captured at handover, not after sealing.
Heavy at the base, light on top; planned stowage, dunnage and lashing prevent shifting, crushing and wet damage at sea.
Verified gross mass weighed and declared, one-time seal applied, seal number and loading photos recorded against the B/L.
IMDG classification, marking, labels and DG paperwork checked; reefers pre-cooled, set temperature, humidity and ventilation confirmed.
SI, VGM and terminal cutoffs managed backward from the sailing schedule, with the gate-in window and paperwork confirmed in writing.
Quayside & Vessel Operations
Capabilities
One account team covers the full cargo spectrum — with special-equipment and DG expertise for the difficult shipments.
How We Manage
A dedicated account service plus an operator — one window for quoting, booking and exception handling.
Five milestones pushed without being asked — booked, loaded, sailed, arrived, delivered.
Booking note, MBL/HBL, freight invoice and POD archived and retrievable; monthly statements and reconciliation supported.
Roll-over, inspection and congestion are warned early, with rebooking, diversion and demurrage-containment plans ready.
Free-time, detention, demurrage and local charges quoted up front — every fee on every shipment is checkable.
The Standards We Work By
We design and execute against international ocean-cargo rules. Carriage is performed by liner carriers and terminal handling by port operators — CSI owns booking, documentation, handover and end-to-end coordination.
CSI Trans is an NVOCC-filed freight forwarder — not a shipping line. We own no vessels and no container terminals. We book space with liner carriers and slot operators in line with industry rules; actual ocean carriage is performed by the carriers, terminal handling by port operators, and customs declaration by our team together with licensed customs brokers.
Classification, packing, marks, labels and documentation for the dangerous-goods containers we tender.
Every loaded container is weighed and its VGM declared before gate-in, as required under SOLAS.
Stowage, dunnage and lashing practice inside containers, to prevent shifting and damage at sea.
Our non-vessel-operating common-carrier business is filed under China's international shipping regulations.
Declarations are lodged through China's single-window system with licensed customs brokers and complete paperwork.
Responsibilities and cost allocation confirmed on every quotation, so neither side is surprised.
