International Air Freight · PVG & SHA Airport Operations
CSI Trans runs export bookings, blocked space and charters, import direct pickup and air-truck (RFS) intermodal moves out of Shanghai. Our airport team works the PVG and SHA cargo terminals on the floor — general, dangerous, temperature-controlled and out-of-gauge cargo, handled in line with IATA rules, with proactive milestone updates from booking to POD.
End-to-End Air Process
From booking request to proof of delivery — every step has a written SOP, a responsible owner and a timestamped record.
Confirm commodity, pieces, weight, volume and dimensions, and the deadline; compare direct vs transit routings; book directly with carriers or block pallet/container positions.
Door pickup and trucking to the warehouse; verify documents, weigh, measure chargeable weight, photograph condition, apply HAWB labels and put away.
Check invoice, packing list and contract; HS classification, origin and permits (dual-use items, DG packaging certificates); declare well before cutoff.
Complete civil-aviation security screening, tender the full shipment to the airport cargo terminal, and confirm ULD positions and flight cutoff times.
Heavy cargo at the base, light cargo on top per airline acceptance standards; build pallets or containers, net and lash, weigh and tag every ULD.
Load by high-loader or belt and reconcile against the manifest; track the live flight after departure and raise alerts at the first sign of exception.
Protect connecting capacity at transit points and rebook immediately if offloaded; monitor breakdown and tally on arrival, heading off inspection and demurrage.
Destination import clearance and duty payment, terminal direct pickup or last-mile trucking; signed POD returned, filed and traceable.
Warehouse & Cargo Terminal
Document check, weighing, volumetric measurement and packaging inspection with photos — any damage is captured immediately to pin responsibility.
Separate zones for general, dangerous, temperature-controlled and high-value goods; palletized, moisture-proof, correctly stacked with clear fire lanes.
HAWB labels, shipping marks and handling indicators on every piece; flight-by-flight pre-builds balance weight and volume to maximize ULD usage.
Lithium batteries, liquids, powders and other sensitive cargo have documents and packaging verified early to avoid terminal rejection and rework.
Escorted transfer through X-ray, terminal acceptance and placement on the ULD position, with every checkpoint reported in real time.

Capabilities
One account team handles the full commodity spectrum — with priority capacity for time-critical and special cargo.
How We Manage
A dedicated account service plus an operator — one window for quoting, booking and exception handling.
Five milestones pushed without being asked — received, customs-cleared, departed, arrived, delivered.
Booking note, MAWB/HAWB, freight invoice and POD archived and retrievable; monthly statements and reconciliation supported.
Early warnings on offloads, inspections and delays, with ready rebooking, return and expedite contingencies.
Direct carrier capacity, weight-volume optimization and credit terms — every charge on every shipment is checkable.
The Standards We Work By
We design and execute against international air-cargo rules. Carriage is performed by airlines and terminal acceptance by airport cargo terminals — CSI owns booking, documentation, handover and end-to-end coordination.
CSI Trans is a freight forwarder — not an airline. We hold no IATA agency accreditation and no airport-terminal operating license. We book and tender cargo in line with IATA TACT / DGR / TCR rules; actual air carriage is performed by licensed airlines, security screening and terminal handling by airport cargo terminals, and customs declaration by our team together with licensed customs brokers.
Rate bases, chargeable-weight rules and carrier billing principles used when we quote and book.
Classification, packing, labels and the Shipper's Declaration for the Classes 2–9 cargo we tender.
Handling for pharma, perishables and dry-ice shipments using validated packaging and active temperature-controlled ULDs.
China's civil-aviation regulation providing the domestic legal basis for DG declaration, training and handover.
All tendered cargo passes regulated security screening before entering the airport terminal and the aircraft.
Responsibilities and cost allocation confirmed on every quotation, so neither side is surprised.
